Lapid AN ACT PROVIDING FOR LIFETIME VALIDITY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY IDENTIFICATION CARDS ISSUED TO PWDS |WITH PERMANENT DISABILITY, FURTHER AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7277, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "MAGNA CARTA FOR DISABLED PERSONS", AS AMENDED Be It enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled. 1 SECTION 1. Section 32 of Republic Act No. 7277, otherwise known as the 2 "Magna Carta for Disabled Persons", as amended, is hereby further amended to read 3 as follows; 4 "SEC. 32. Persons with disability shall be entitled to the following: 5 XXX. 6 The abovementloned privileges are available only to persons with 7 disability who are Filipino citizens upon submission of any of the 8 following as proof of his/her entitlement thereto: 9 (I) An identification card issued by the city or munic pal mayor the 10 barangay captain of the place where the person withdisability resides; 11 (II) The passport of the persons with disability concerned; or 12 (III) Transportation discount fare Identification Card (ID) issued by 13 the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP).
