such PWDs to renew every three years is superfluous, burdensome and a waste of
government resources.
This biil seeks to eliminate this unnecessary burden and rationaiize the issuance
of PWD IDs by providing for the iifetime vaiidity for PWDs with permanent disabiiities.
This wiil spare them the inconvenience of going back to the issuing offices every three
years, fiiiing up the renewai forms, faliing in iine and paying fees and charges just to
renew their PWD IDs, when no changes have occurred as to their disabiiity status.
In view of this, eariy passage of this bill is sought.
