postponed due to the advent of the pandemic which was also the time where the whole country declared a lockdown under varied levels of community quarantine. Inter-agency meetings which is usually set every last month of the quarter were also cancelled. Although, the region sits with the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)-Covid-19 specifically the Humanitarian Sector, where our Regional Director Atty. Jeanne Ivy F. Abrina keeping tabs with the regional situations on cases affecting the lives of women, IP, Children, IDPs and the vulnerable sector. The regional office facilitated the request of stranded students from other region to return to their place of origins. And based on IDP monitoring reports, the students were now able to avail of the ‗Balik Probinsiya Program‘ facilitated by the local IATF (LGUs) concerned. This is primarily reflected on the report made by our IDP Monitor that there were two (2) batches of students availed of the Balik Probinsiya Program of Iligan LGU, and another group coming from MSU MainMarawi City to their respective residents, while other coming from MSU-Iligan to some part in Mindanao facilitated by IATF. B. Trainings and/or Webinars Attended Some of our regional staff were able to attend ‗Webinars‘ related to responding to emergencies ‗COVID-19‘ vis-à-vis gender-based violence (GBV) cases. Here are the lists of Webinars that we have participated in; a) Feminist Counseling and Child Protection Guidelines (CHRP); b) Caring in the Time of Covid-19 (CIFAL); c) Being LGBTQI in the Time of Pandemic: A Situationer (Mindanao Pride); d) Gender-Based Violence (UNICEF); e) Case Management for VAW, GBV, and PSEA (UNICEF) f) VAC and PSEA (UNICEF); and, g) LAGABLAB (LGBTQI Filipino during COVID-19 Crisis). 2. THEMATIC AREA OF CONCERN 2.1. Situations of Women with Disability (WWD)- Peer Monitoring We have responded to the call of monitoring experiences and situations of Women With Disabilities (WWD) in the region. An advocate has accepted the challenge to be the coordinator of the regional peer monitoring of WWD. Together with the coordinator are fifteen (15) peer monitors from the different disability sub-sector (hearing-impaired, mobility-impaired and sight- impaired). Areas covered in the regions for monitoring are from Cagayan de Oro City, El Salvador City (Misamis Oriental), Malaybalay City and Valencia City (Bukidnon).
