Section 27 of R.A. 7277 is hereby amended to read as follows: 7 8 "Sec. 27. Access to Public Transport Facilities. - The 9 Department of Social Welfare and Development shall develop a 10 program to assist marginalized persons with disability gain 11 access in the use of public transport facilities. Such assistance 12 may be in the form of subsidized transportation fare. 13 14 The said department shall also allocate such funds as 15 may be necessary for the effective implementation of the public 16 transport program for the persons with disability. 17 18 IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACCESS TO 19 TRANSPORTATION 20 WITH DISABILITY WHO DEPEND ON GUIDE ANIMALS SHALL 21 BE CONSIDERED. PROGRAMS, THE NEEDS OF PERSONS 22 23 24 The "Accessibility Law", as amended, shall be made suppletory to this Act." 25 26 Sec. 4.
