This court’s commitment to provide full protection to labor “does not prevent us from
sustaining the employer when it is in the right.”[96] In any event, the lower court has
awarded US$3,000.00 as financial assistance in the interest of equity and
compassionate justice.
WHEREFORE, the petition is DENIED. The Court of Appeals’ decision and resolution
are AFFIRMED.
