With regard to the recorded cases, this PRO has recorded nineteen (19)) gender-based violence committed by their own officers within the period from January to November 2020 and no reported victim from the LGBT community. The Women and Children Protection Desks (WCPD) and Human Rights Desk Officers in every police station of the PRO have been continuously conducting police information and continuing education on the Anti-Sexual Harassment Law and other related laws. Regular human rights education and trainings among our personnel, as well as community-based dialogues, policy reviews and other initiatives related to human rights development are implemented to ensure compliance to national laws, statues and international conventions. 3. Further, said office as mandated by higher headquarters and in compliance to the PNP (PNP Guidelines and Procedures) is tasked to regularly convene Gender and Development Seminars and Trainings to include RA 9710, RA 7877 and RA 11313. We endeavor to promote empowerment of women, pursue equal opportunities for women and men and ensure equal access to resources and to make them participate in policy formation, researches, training and others.
