Currently, victim lodged a complaint against Rufean International Human Resources Company at NLRC with docket number RAB- III-OFW-09-30217-19. The case was recommended for financial assistance. Her case filed before the NLRC is subject for monitoring. 5. CHR-III-2020-0066 For: Slight Physical Injuries On March 30, 2020, during the implementation of the Luzon wide community quarantine, a netizen uploaded a video on social media containing a scene involving an elderly woman bathing naked outside her house being verbally and physically abused by a man. The plight of the victim was reported by a social worker of Barangay Mabalacat, Pampanga. She was rescued on April 1, 2020 by the VAWC Desk Officer of the barangay and was brought to the Barangay Annex of Atlu Bola. She was later turned over to a Social Worker of the City Social Welfare Development Office of Mabalacat City. On April 1, 2020, a criminal complaint was filed against the perpetrator before the City Prosecutor, Mabalacat City, Pampanga. A follow-up on the status was conducted by the undersigned with the handling social worker. According to the social worker, victim was turned over to Bahay Pag-ibig, Barangay Telabastagan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. On December 29, 2020, this Regional Office granted victim financial assistance. Currently, she is under the care and custody of Bahay Pag-ibig, a house shelter for abandoned elderly. 6. CHR-III-2020-0217 For: Rape A post from the Brigada News FM 92.7 Pampanga was monitored by the Commission on Human Rights Regional Office No.3 on the alleged rape of a 24 year-old detainee of San Miguel Municipal Police Station, Bulacan by a police officer of the said station. 18
