SOURCE: PNA NEWS Ronny Bratlistuen, a Norwegian and his Filipino common-law spouse, Jesebelle Cometa were arrested during the service of a search warrant in their rented house in Barangay Candauay, Dumaguete City. The two suspects were arrested for violating Republic Act 9208 or the “Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003” and other laws concerning cybercrime. During the search, police operatives found male and female sex toys, vibrators, penis rings, headsets, laptops, and desktop computers, which in the belief of the police operatives were used in cyber-pornography activities. The police operatives were also able to rescue four females (two of them a mother and daughter) and were later discovered that they have been staying in the house of the suspects. Consequently, the rescued victims were endorsed to City Social Welfare Office for processing and debriefing. Meanwhile, two (2) suspects are now detained at the lock-up facility of the Dumaguete City Police Station while police operatives are conducting inventory of the seized items.
