Complaint Source: GBV Case in Cainta Rizal A woman who was supposed to do her grocery shopping in one of the malls in Cainta Rizal was checked by the two police personnel in the checkpoint area located at Marcos Highway. She was asked to present her ID and quarantine pass of which she complied. After checking her temperature, she was asked to remove her face mask for proper identification. Thereafter, one of the police personnel made an inappropriate question whether the victim is married or not of which she answered that she is not. Consequently, the other police personnel informed the first police personnel that the victim is alone in the car and thereafter persistently asked for her number but she vehemently refused. She left the checkpoint area feeling humiliated of the incident. The email which was sent by the victim was referred by the CHR GEWHRC to CHR-NCR office for appropriate action.
