Lapu-Lapu Day. - The twenty-seventh (27th) day of April o f every 2 year is hereby declared as a special working public holiday throughout the country to 3 com m em orate the victory o f Lapu-Lapu and his men over the Spaniards in the historic 4 battle o f Mactan on April 27, 1521, to be known as Lapu-Lapu Day or A dlaw n i Lapu- 5 Lapu. 6 Sec. 2. R epealing Clause. - All laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations or 7 other issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby 8 repealed or m odified accordingly. 9 Sec. 3. Effectivity. - This A ct shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the 10 com pletion o f its publication either in the O fficial Gazette or in a newspaper of general 11 circulation in the Philippines. 12 Approved,
