GBV CASE IN REGION I
The victim, 58 years older rural woman was killed by her own son last April
24, 2020. The cause of the killing was the money that the victim’s husband
received from the Social Amelioration Program (SAP). Before that fateful day, the
victim and the accused had a heated argument that lead to the killing of the
former by the latter. Consequently, criminal case for Parricide under the Revised
Penal Code was filed against the accused and was accordingly docketed.
