Any object and instrumentality used in committing any of the prohibited

acts under Section 25 of this Act shall be confiscated and forfeited in favor of the
3
government.

I f the offender is a juridical entity, the penalty o f imprisonment and fine
5
shall be imposed upon its manager, director, representative or employee
6
responsible for the violation without prejudice to the cancellation or revocation of
7
the license or accreditation o f the offender, issued by any licensing or accredited
8
body of the government.

I f the offender is an alien, the offender shall be deported immediately after
service of the sentence.

The prosecution of offenses under Section 25 of this Act shall be without
12
prejudice to any liability for violation of Republic Act No. 8371, as amended,
13
otherwise known as the "Indigenous Peoples' Rights A ct o f 19 9 7 "or other criminal
14
and civil liabilities under existing laws.

A n nu al Report. - The Chairperson of the NCIP shall submit to the

the DENR shall, in consultation with appropriate government agencies and with

the full participation of ICCs/IPs, issue the necessary rules and regulations for the
31
effective implementation o f this Act.
