27. In the field of education the 1994 report of St. Vincent and the Grenadines
is more descriptive and detailed than that of 1991. It is also more optimistic
about the equality of opportunity between girls and boys at the primary and
secondary levels. However, the report is not precise enough. It does not
always provide the data on literacy and enrolment ratios which would facilitate
a study of the situation, especially as compared with other States.
