Arbitrary Deprivation of Life and Other Unlawful Killings
DRUG RELATED EJK / ADL CASES:
In all the four (4)drug related EJKs investigated, the victims were in the
PDEA list, BADAC list, and drug surrenderer. The victims were usually
dumped in a secluded area where the victims might be discovered by
passersby only by chance. Also, it was observed that the victims first
went missing for a day or days and then was found dead. Two of the
victims were shot to death and the other two suffered puncture wounds
at their bodies and strangulation mark at their neck similar to the other
drug related cases received by this office. In all the cases, it was
reported that the victims did not die on the spot where they were found
but some place else since the amount of blood found at the scene does
not match the injuries which was sustained by the victims. The killing was
carried out with impunity. All of the perpetrators are still unidentified.
1. CHRISTIAN “SADEEK” DEL PRADO (CHR-CAR Case No. 2020 – 0027)
Christian “Sadeek” Del Prado is a high value target of PDEA CAR. In 2019,
he was involved in a gunfight with police officers at a checkpoint. He
also has a pending warrant of arrest issued by La Union RTC. On February
of 2020, he and his wife went down to San Fabian, Pangasinan.
According to the parents of Sadeek, unidentified armed men went out
of the house of Sadeek while they were closing the gate. The men then
grabbed Sadeek and put him inside the vehicle while they shot at the
wife of Sadeek. Sadeek was then found days later at Camp 3, Tuba,
Benguet. He has a gun shot wound at his head and at an early state of
decomposition.
2. DALIFER OPLAS (CHR-CAR Case No. 2020 - 0030)
Dalifer Oplas was a drug personality and was at a BADAC list. He went
home to Buguias to lie low. On February 15, 2020, he went to Baguio to
meet his daughter. According to his relatives, someone texted him to
meet up. Days later he was found dead at Outlook Drive, Sto. Tomas
Proper, Baguio City. He sustained 2 puncture wounds at his clavicle and
5 at his back. There is also mark on his neck suggesting that he was
strangled.
3. JOHNNY RABANG (CHR – CAR Case No. 2020 – 0031)
Johnny Rabang was a drug surrenderer in Baguio City. On February 28,
2020, he was found at Longlong, Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet. His taxi
