against climate change done in the community. Lastly, a score of 5 is given for a community
conducting more than 4 programs or support systems against climate change.
3. INTEGRATION AND OBTAINING VULNERABILITY RATINGS
Overall vulnerability is obtained from the integration of Sensitivity, Exposure, and
Adaptive capacity. When each of the variables has been completely scored, the next step is
computation for the average of each category (sensitivity, exposure and adaptive capacity).
After obtaining the vulnerability measurement for each component, translation of the
computed values to its corresponding categorical scale (low, medium and high) is the next
step to do.

3.1. COMPUTATION FOR CATEGORY AVERAGE SCORE
Listed below is the formula in getting the average of each scored vulnerability
category (Sensitivity, Exposure, and Adaptive Capacity):
Sensitivity Average Score:
ST =
S1 + S2 + S3 + S4

Legend:
ST = Total sensitivity score
S1 = Indicating variable score
NS = No. of indicating variables considered
