In Criminal Case No. 02-755, appellant Alelie Tolentino is found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of illegal recruitment in large scale, constituting economic sabotage, as defined and penalized in Section 6 and Section 7(b) of RA 8042. She is ordered to indemnify private complainant Orlando Layoso in the amount of Thirty Five Thousand Pesos (P35,000) as actual damages, with legal interest of six percent (6%) per annum from 28 June 2002, until the said amount is fully paid. 4. In Criminal Case No. 02-758, appellant Alelie Tolentino is found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of estafa, as defined and penalized in Article 315(2)(a) of the Revised Penal Code. She is sentenced to suffer the indeterminate penalty of 2 years of prision correccional as minimum to 8 years of prision mayor as maximum.
