Recommends the following draft decision to the Economic and Social Council for adoption: “The Economic and Social Council, taking note of Commission on Human Rights resolution 2005/47 of 19 April 2005, approves the decision of the Commission to extend the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants for a period of three years. “It also endorses the Commission’s request to the Secretary-General to give the Special Rapporteur all the necessary human and financial assistance for the fulfilment of her mandate.” 57th meeting 19 April 2005 [Adopted without a vote.
