The following health infrastructures are available: 1 Main Health Center; 6 Barangay Health Stations; 2 Ambulance; Balilihan Assistance Rescue Team (A 24-hour emergency rescue unit). The Balilihan CLUP shows a total health worker population of 229. Divided as such (1-physician, 1nurse, 6-midwives, 1-dentist, 1-sanitary inspector and 1-med-tech); with the population progression the projected needs are shown in the table below where they would have needed (by 2011) an additional physician, public health nurse, dentist and 6 more midwives. Its productive citizens in the cluster 15 – 39 age group (5,133) remain either a boon or bane as they will be dependent on the opportunities available. The unemployment rate as per the PDMS is reported at 1102 (11.79%) person(s).
