Table 10 presents the distribution of respondents according to estimate
joint household monthly income prior to the pandemic. Respondents have
also mentioned in their responses that their income has gone down during
the pandemic due to loss of employment or restrictions in earning.
Thirty-four (34) or thirty-eight point two percent (38.2%) had a joint
monthly earning of 5 to 10 thousand pesos; twenty-nine (29) or thirty-two
point five percent (32.5%) earned a total of 12 to 15 thousand monthly,
twenty or twenty-two point five percent (22.5%) were earning five
thousand pesos or lower in a month, five (5) or five point six percent
(5.6%).
The above data indicates that more than half of the population of
respondents have been earning between 5 to 15 thousand every month to
sustain their living expenses.
