SUGGESTED QUESTONS FOR THE STATE
We hope that the Committee will consider addressing the following questions to the
Philippine government:
1. What efforts are being done by the government to pay compensation for rape victims
as recommended by the Committee?
2. What are the efforts of the government to address the incidence of wives being killed
by their husbands or intimate partners?
We hope that the information provided in this report is useful during the Committee’s
review of the Philippine government’s compliance with CEDAW. If you have any
