It is the biggest barangay in terms of land area covering over 1.1k hectares although 50% of its terrain is plain, 25% is hilly while 25% is mountainous. The barangay of Pasonanca consists of seven (7) Sitios, namely: Abong-Abong, Luyahan,Shanty Town, LantawanBusay, Muruk, Sabana Coco & Canucatan. It also includes five (5) subdivision & Blue Homes Subdivision. The barangay Pasonanca has programs conducted and to be conducted about Gender and Development such as lectures about Republic Act 9262, cooking competitions, seminars and forums about Gender and Development, baking competitions, Barangay Pasonanca Employees Orientation about Gender and Development, clean-up programs, medical and dental mission. Most of the participants were women, ladies, mothers, teenage mothers and some of the programs include the participation of children and men. PASONANCA BARANGAY HALL The focal person for Gender and Development is a speaker of forums and seminars about the GAD programs. The focal person is also assigned for the arrangement of bearable cases specially Violence Against Women incidents. The focal Person of Barangay Pasonanca has the obligation to deal with the bearable cases especially VAW Cases, The BLGU gives its best to comprehend first the reason of the incidents, and then hear the sides of the different parties’ involved, then provides solutions that might be helpful to solve the cases. 27
