Data Interpretation
Analysis of Qualitative Data
Quslitative data taken from the transcripts of interviews were analysed
thematically and these themes were identified through the frequency of
their answers.
With the themes labelled, the statements/responses were grouped
together.
Statistical Treatment of Data
The quantitative data were taken from the results of mathematical
formulae seeking for the percentages, the arithmetic mean, ranking, the
weighted mean, the average weighted mean, the Chi Square, and the
Standard Deviation.
Consideration on Ethics
The respondents were all assured that their responses will all be held in
confidence during the duration of the study and even beyond. Their
identities will not be divulged but circumstances may be cited for as long as
they are pertinent to the study at hand.
Rights of pregnant women, indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities,
and minors were stated beforehand, however, it was made clear that the
study discourages the inclusión of minors, and should said minors be
among the girl-survivors, they may only be included if they are victimsurvivors of VAW.
Respondents are asked to share information only as they may be relevant
to the study and focused on the topic of the study. All participation in this
research investigation is voluntary, and all respondents have been
requested to divulge or share any ibformation that is factual or in any way
honest and accurate to the best of their ability.
