6.3. Effectiveness - refers to the extent to which the strategies and activities progressively realized the desired results given the amount and quality of material and human resources brought into a program/ project. 6.4. Gender Gap- refers to a manifestation of gender inequality, where significant disparity in male and female access to productive and seiVJ.ce resources. 6.5. Gender Issues- refers to problems that are results of the way boys and girls or women and men have been socially constructed which cause negative effects or gender gap on social status and human relationships such as inequality and discrimination. 6.6. Community Working Group - refers to the ICCsjiPs as a community who shall prepare the ADSDPP and guided by their recognized Elders/Leaders. The group is composed of Traditional Elders/Leaders and representatives of IP sectors (women, youth, fisherfolks, farmers, etc.) 6. 7. ADSDPP Regional Team - refers to that group constituted at the Regional level tasked to review the ADSDPP before any endorsement by the Regional Director. 6.8. ADSDPP Provincial Team- refers to that group constituted at the Provincial level tasked to facilitate the preparation of the ADSDPP. 6.9. ADSDPP Community Service Center Team- refers to that group constituted at the Community Service Center without Provincial Office tasked to facilitate the preparation of the ADSDPP • 6.10. Climate Change- change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods (Climate Change in the Philippines). 6.11. Disaster Risk Reduction - the concept and practice of reducing disaster risk through systematic efforts to analyze and manage the causal factors of disasters, including through reduced exposure to hazards, lessened vulnerability of people and property, wise management of land and the environment, and improved preparedness for adverse events (R.A. 10 121) 6.12. Indigenous Knowledge Systems & Practices- refer to collective wisdom home out of relationships between land and resources and a way of life anchored on generations of communal experience and intimate intercourse with the physical environment. The term consist of a body of knowledge and traditional methods of land and natural resources utilization and management such as knowledge of the properties of flora and fauna, the seasons, soils, climate, land and water. It includes knowledge and practice of traditional medicine, science and health practices, vital medicinal plants, animals and minerals.
