Documentation on GBV Mapping Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Region _ Atty. Arlene Q. Alangco, CHR 5 Regional Director, welcomes the participants to the FGD. After which, Avila presented the video of the background of this FGD, entitled Gender Based Violence Observatory Project despite technical and internet connectivity. She further explained that GBV Mapping is done in order to gather data from CHR, DOJ and DSWD, government duty bearers, monitoring of women’s human rights, come up with information mechanism on how to go about it and referral mechanism as an avenue to close in the gaps in referring cases, data needed in order to do our roles in the GBV. 3
