During the discussion it has been said that one way of activism is breaking the silence
of violence, it is sharing of stories, raising of awareness and be accountable of it. Most of
the panelist in the summit shared their experiences and encounters while the participants
shared their knowledge, the legal actions to be done and solutions on how to handle the
problems. One of the participant said that “If it is a public crime everyone is responsible
and must take an action to solve the problem.” The participants continued to interact with
each other by giving of solutions to the cases and problems that has been raised. The
summit has become a gateway of acquiring more information of what to do in times of
assisting and encounters of VAW victims.
