Please also indicate whether both parties are accorded the same rights and responsibilities upon dissolution of the marriage and how the rights of children are protected. It is indicated that the Gender and Development Code of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao discourages marriage to a child, defined as below 18 years of age (para. 25).
