The 2006 PDMS data shows the following: 1,561
(48.12%) HHs are living below the food threshold;
237 (12.41%) Child/Children are malnourished; while
2,130 (65.66%) HHs are living below the Income
Threshold. 24 (0.74%) HHs are living below the meal
threshold.18 This becomes noteworthy as it
increases the sensitivity of the population to coping
with the potentially adverse effects of climate change on health as malnourishment compromises
our young. Income that is compromised also becomes an indicator when it comes to seeking and
paying for health services.
